Alumni Holidays groups having lectures at CCCL

It’s scheduled that CCCL will offer lectures on “Contemporary Issues in Morocco” to AHI (Alumni Holidays) groups. These groups of around 20 people are essentially from college and university alumni, as well as members of alumni associations. The coming lectures will be on the following dates:

-  October 03rd, 2010

-  October, 12th, 2010

-  October, 21st, 2010

-  October, 31st, 2010

For reminder, CCCL has already received the AHI groups on September 15 and 24th, 2010.

 

Road Scholar Spain Morocco Shared Histories, Complementary Cultures

32 participants from Adventures in Life learning will attend Road Scholar Spain and Morocco shared histories from October 14rd to October 30thh, 2010. The participants will spend 7 nights in Morocco and will have the opportunity to have an overview of Moroccan and culturesd. They will visit, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Rabat and Casablanca)

CCCL will be receiving a group of 24 participants from Adventures in Life learning-Road Scholar Morocco: Melting Pot of Cultures, from October 30th to November 16th2010. On the program, an overview of Moroccan history, an introduction to Moroccan culture and daily modern life of the people. The cities to be visited have been meticulously picked up to present the cultural diversity in the hosting land (Rabat, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Erfoud, Marzouga, Ouarzazat, Marakech and Casablanca)
 

SIT Study Abroad MOR and MOM Autumn 2010

Beginning August 29th, 2010, the Center for Cross Cultural Learning will host two SIT programs for the autumn semester 2010 "SIT MOR / Culture and society" and "SIT MOM /... Migration studies".

For the second time in a row, 54 SIT students will be enrolling in this program

The coming SIT program will end on December 11th , 2010. It consists of various components: seminars, public lectures and  group discussions on culture, migration, politics, human rights, religion and others, Arabic courses, homestay, excursions, village stay and independent study projects and a week trip to Amsterdam.

ROAD SCHOLAR Scholar Morocco: Melting Pot of Cultures

32 participants from Adventures in Life learning will attend Road Scholar Melting Pot of Cultures from October 23rd to November 9th2010. The participants will have an overview of Moroccan history and an introduction to Moroccan culture and daily modern life of its people.
