Carleton Univ. Group at CCCL

A group of 25 students with 2 faculty members will be hosted by the CCCL from April 26th to May 1st ,2015. During their short stay, the students will learn through conferences about the Moroccan daily life, culture and political system. They will also have monument site visits, an excursion to Fez and will discover rural zones where they are going to perform some community services.

Road Scholar Best of Morocco: Authentic program, March 2015

The CCCL hosts 20 Road Scholar participants for the Best of Morocco: Ancient Medinas to Modern Identity. March 15-26, 2015 is the time for our group to conjure up images from old cities that are centuries old and interact with experts to study religion, architecture, women’s issues, excavation sites, and above all much interaction with locals

SIT Amsterdam Spring 2015

A group of 23 students from SIT Netherlands will be at CCCL from March 7th to 17th, 2015. During this program, they will have lectures on various topics like Gender, Street Harassment, Women Health and Rights in Morocco and will meet with their peers from Moroccan universities. A visit to a Moroccan non-governmental organization dealing with social issues is on the program as well as an excursion to Casablanca, Fes and Marrakech where they will be having several academic and experiential activities.

Gettysburg College at CCCL --- January 2015

The Center for Cross cultural Learning (CCCL) is Hosting a winter program from Gettysburg College “from January 7th to January 15th”. The program is focusing on Islam and Women rights. Students will learn from different speakers about the topic, they will also visit different institutions and NGO working on Women rights in different cities. Group discussions with Moroccan University students will be organized to exchange ideas and different point of views for both Moroccans and Gettysburg students. The program also includes educational excursions to the city of Fes and Casablanca.
