Ibn Battuta Lecture

The center for Cross Cultural Learning (CCCL) is organizing a public lecture that would be framing the theme of “Ibn Battuta in the Cosmopolitan World of the Fourteenth century”, by the American Historian and Writer Ross E. Dunn. April 6th at 5. The lecture would open a traveling gate back to the fragrant history of Ibn Battuta adventures, to introduce the audience to explore its priceless journey and exceptional dimensions.


Road Scholar Best of Morocco: Authentic program, March 2017

The CCCL is hosting an 11 day Road Scholar program from March 5th through March 16th. Our Best of Morocco program is meeting with university professors to discuss arts, spirituality, women issues, traditional and modern identities. Our participants will explore, through unique activities, Fez, Moulay Idriss, the Middle Atlas, and Marrakesh.

The Center for Cross Cultural Learning is hosting the first group of Road Scholar for 2017. During the two-week trip, the participants who are enrolled in, Melting pot of Cultures, program will attend several lectures, enjoy guided tours, musical performances and some hands-on activities. The Road Scholar team is warmly welcoming all the participants and wishing them a very enjoyable stay among us

SIT Multiculturalism and Human Rights Program at CCCL

The Center for Cross Cultural Learning (CCCL) is hosting Multiculturalism and Human Rights program for the spring semester 2017. The program will last from January 29th to May 13th. Lectures and seminars would be held in light of covering the topic. Throughout the program, students will take Arabic standard language and Darija courses. They will improve their language skills with local homestay, a closer opening to Moroccan customs and culture. Student will have an opportunity to discover cultural diversity of Morocco through organized excursions to different regions including cities and villages.

11th Semester of SIT MOJ

CCCL is hosting the 11th semester of SIT MOJ “Field Studies in Journalism and New Media”. A long term program based in Rabat that extends from January 29th to May 13th, 2017. Students will have intensive Arabic and French classes and field studies on Journalism; a wide variety of lectures in the domain of Journalism and Media in Morocco. They will also go on excursions to different regions of Morocco including the three imperial Cities: Meknes, Fes and Marrakech in addition to a village stay. Students are called to conduct an independent Study project related to the field and experience living with Moroccan Families in the old Medina of Rabat.
